Girish is a communications professional with over 20 years’ experience across the UK, Europe, Middle East, Africa, and India. He specializes in Executive Communications, Brand Positioning Strategy, Digital Communications and Social and Behaviour Change Communications.

After senior leadership roles in London from 2005-2014 with Omnicom agencies – Ketchum and Pleon and Waggener Edstrom Worldwide, Girish returned to India in 2014 and worked with Avian Media as Chief Strategy Officer and Managing Partner.

In 2017, Girish founded ON PURPOSE, a creative communications consultancy focused on driving social change in India. Since conception, the firm has rapidly built a reputation for expertise in 4 broad areas: Climate Action, Public Health, Education and Gender Equality. In 2020, Girish was listed as one of Provoke Media's Top 20 Innovators across APAC.
